Pouring Sand

Everything we have is God’s (including money), and he asks us to take care of (steward) it.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it - Psalm 24:1

At Lincoln Road Chapel we believe that giving is a key part of Generous Worship:

  • Worship with others on Sundays, in your small group, or at other times.

  • Take time on your own to give attention to God in prayer, Bible reading, and quiet reflection.

  • Give of your time.

  • Give financially.

  • Surrender every part of your life to God in Generous Worship.

  • In God's economy, 90% is greater than 100%.
"Remember this - a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”  2 Corinthians 9:6-7

What happens when you give?

“Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.”
– Jesus (Matthew 6:20)
  • Many who cannot speak in English learn through the ESL Ministry and some take steps toward Jesus by attending worship and ESL Bible studies.

  • Children and teens from LRC families and from the neighbourhood right around the church find fun, safe and Jesus-centered programs through HomeBase, BaseCamp, plus Jr. and Sr. Youth.

  • The good news of Jesus reaches into the Mandarin and Ethiopian communities within Waterloo Region.
